Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Packaging Compliance Analyst to support packaging integrity, supplier compliance, and logistics operations.

In this role, you’ll audit inbound packaging for accuracy and compliance, maintain documentation, and partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive packaging improvements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in root cause analysis, and comfortable working with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Strong communication, data analysis abilities, and proficiency with Excel and standard reporting tools are key.

As a Packaging Compliance Analyst, you’ll:
  • Audit inbound component packaging and labeling for compliance with Pack Spec guidelines and supplier standards.
  • Utilize internal systems, including PFEP, Shipping Label Tracker, Packaging Compliance Tracker, and logistics KPIs, to support analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain and improve packaging documentation, including database updates, drawings, data, and photographs.
  • Support supplier corrective actions by documenting packaging trials, evaluating warehouse and line-side feasibility, and tracking outcomes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing packaging strategies for existing components and new product introductions.
  • Identify packaging issues or improvements, especially for pre-production packaging, and escalate as needed.
  • Support kitting, repackaging, and deviation request processes, ensuring accurate tracking and timely closures.
  • Investigate inbound packaging damage and propose corrective and preventive measures.
  • Develop dashboards and data-driven reporting for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with packaging engineers on prototype reviews and sample assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams across logistics, manufacturing, and engineering.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in logistics operations, supply chain, SAP, or automotive manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of expendable/returnable packaging, shipping labeling requirements, lean principles, warehouse processes, and line-side operations
  • Ability to read CAD and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with automotive development, robotics, or warehouse automation
  • Strong root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with suppliers
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel/Word

Nice to Have:
  • CAD or SAP experience
  • Automotive packaging experience
  • Experience with BarTender shipping/labeling software
