Job description

HireArt is helping our client find a Sr Manager, Human Resources, to serve as a hands-on HR generalist and trusted partner to employees and leadership. This role is central to daily people operations, ensuring compliance, strong employee relations, and continuous improvement across HR processes.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, brings strong employee relations and coaching skills, and is comfortable owning HR operations end-to-end.

As a Sr. Manager, Human Resources, you will:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned departments, including posting roles, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting initial assessments.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters and manage pre-employment documentation.
  • Own core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment, LOA administration (FMLA, PDL, etc.), and immigration support.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, wage & hour, OSHA).
  • Maintain accurate HRIS and employee records (e.g., BambooHR, TriNet) and ensure QMS files remain audit-ready.
  • Partner with TriNet and collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate employee changes, budgeting alignment, and timely processing.
  • Support mandatory reporting and audit preparation.
  • Support annual compensation review processes to ensure equity and competitiveness.
  • Assist with benefits administration, acting as a liaison between employees and the PEO.
  • Manage annual open enrollment and new-hire benefits setup.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns.
  • Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, and effective communication aligned with company policy and employment law.
  • Partner with international teams in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK, and Belgium.
  • Coordinate with global PEO partners to support compliance and local HR needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of HR experience with demonstrated leadership
  • Broad HR generalist background, including employee relations, compliance, and HR operations
  • Experience supporting international teams (Europe preferred)
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and strategic judgement
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Experience in medical device or manufacturing industries (highly preferred)
  • PHR or SHRM certification is a plus!
