HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Supply Chain Materials Manager to support operations and ensure the smooth flow of materials across product development and manufacturing.
In this role, you’ll oversee end-to-end material management, including planning, procurement, inventory control, supplier coordination, and material flow optimization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong grasp of supply chain processes and a proven record of maintaining material availability in fast-paced environments.
As a Supply Chain Materials Manager, you'll:
In this role, you’ll oversee end-to-end material management, including planning, procurement, inventory control, supplier coordination, and material flow optimization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong grasp of supply chain processes and a proven record of maintaining material availability in fast-paced environments.
As a Supply Chain Materials Manager, you'll:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, and Engineering) to align demand, share forecasts, and track supplier readiness for on-time delivery.
- Monitor supplier lead times and maintain order coverage based on demand and production schedules.
- Review supplier input/output (IO) plans, identify material risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate to leadership as needed.
- Resolve operational issues related to PO coverage, invoicing, and master data management in the ERP system.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including material availability, on-time delivery, and delivery accuracy.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by aligning materials with development timelines and production ramps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related discipline
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets for decision-making
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency and familiarity with data analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing transactions
