Job description
HireArt is helping our client hire a Senior Data Analyst to join its marketing analytics team.
In this role, you’ll use data to shape marketing strategy, measure campaign impact, and uncover how marketing influences product engagement and customer behavior.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, experienced in translating data into insights that guide marketing decisions. You are skilled in SQL and data visualization, comfortable designing experiments, and confident presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:
In this role, you’ll use data to shape marketing strategy, measure campaign impact, and uncover how marketing influences product engagement and customer behavior.

You are skilled in SQL and data visualization, comfortable designing experiments, and confident presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:
- Analyze first- and third-party data to draw actionable conclusions and support marketing strategy.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI across multiple channels.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key marketing KPIs and performance trends.
- Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to measure the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Define, measure, and track core marketing metrics, identifying drivers of change and areas for improvement.
- Partner with marketing managers (Brand, Product Marketing, Growth) to refine strategies and set data-informed goals.
- Present analytical insights and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in analytics, statistics, economics, marketing, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing data analytics
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data integrity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A/B testing and marketing models such as Multi-Touch Attribution or Media Mix Modeling
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis
Commitment: This is a full-time, 5-month contract position staffed via HireArt. This role is hybrid - onsite Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (WFH Tuesdays and Fridays) and open to candidates local to the Toronto, Canada area.
