Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a highly skilled Triage Operations Tooling and Dashboard engineer to help develop cutting-edge automated driving solutions. Primary duties will be to help maintain and create data-driven dashboards and automation tools that the Triage Operations team uses.
In this role, you’ll also help develop tools and scripts to automate parts of the testing, investigation, and reporting process.

As a Triage Operations Tooling and Dashboard Engineer, you will:
- Create dashboards using SQL and Python that will be used to communicate relevant metrics to the internal team and to external stakeholders.
- Analyze complex streams of information (logs, video files, sensor data) to identify issues related to data ingest and ETL workflows.
- Create scripts using Python to automate workflows or augment the triage team’s capabilities.
- Interface with the triage team, leadership, and core engineering teams to communicate and discuss current issues and dashboarding and tooling needs.
- Create and continuously monitor expert-level bug reports for use with our in-house AI triage tool.
- Some travel may be required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in working with SQL databases
- Track record of automating processes and workflows using Python
- Proficiency with Linux command line
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience using Python, terminal scripts, Git, and SQL
- Customer-focused, organized, thorough, and meticulous
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Prior experience with Mode and/or Streamlit dashboarding environments
- Prior experience with BigQuery and calling REST APIs
- Prior experience setting up scheduled pipeline tasks
- Prior experience in autonomous or robotic systems
- Experience with calling AI agents via API
- Fluency in Japanese
