HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an experienced Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer to provide critical support for its manufacturing execution and enterprise systems.
In this role, you will support daily MES operations, resolve technical issues, and ensure SAP integration, working with production technicians to maintain uptime, accuracy, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with MES and SAP systems in a manufacturing environment, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support complex system integrations on the production floor. We’re looking for someone customer-focused, collaborative, and detail-oriented who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As a Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer, you'll:
In this role, you will support daily MES operations, resolve technical issues, and ensure SAP integration, working with production technicians to maintain uptime, accuracy, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with MES and SAP systems in a manufacturing environment, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support complex system integrations on the production floor. As a Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer, you'll:
- Provide daily MES operational support at company facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues raised by production technicians.
- Monitor MES/S4 integration errors and assist in resolution.
- Resolve MES data collection and operation issues.
- Monitor BaseOps SAP support channel requests and resolve SAP EAM and Configuration Management issues.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure smooth MES operation and plant floor continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of MES experience in manufacturing (analysis, design, development, and implementation)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ME/MII/PCo, Kepware, and SAP EAM systems
- Familiarity with integration between S4/HANA, SAP ME/MII, and MES–PLC via OPC UA
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant floor support, and vehicle system structures
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; customer-focused and team-oriented
Bonus Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing production environment
- Strong understanding of the plant floor manufacturing system architectures and industrial communication protocol
