Job description
HireArt is helping our client hire a Training Specialist to be responsible for the ongoing development, delivery, and quality assurance of training programs for Data Collection (DC) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Development teams.
In this role, you will support continuous improvement by delivering targeted remedial training and executing ad-hoc training projects. You’ll lead both classroom-style instruction and hands-on, in-vehicle audits to ensure high standards of driving proficiency and accuracy in audio note documentation.
The ideal candidate is an experienced trainer or coach with a strong driving background, skilled at giving feedback and raising performance standards, and ideally brings experience in technical or automotive environments with familiarity in data collection, AV development, LMS tools, and quality or safety compliance.
As a Training Specialist, you'll:
As a Training Specialist, you'll:
- Conduct and deliver ongoing training sessions on DC and AV Development protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Execute remedial training sessions for individuals needing improvement in driving skills, compliance, or audio note quality.
- Lead ad-hoc training projects, including new technology, software, or procedural rollouts.
- Perform in-vehicle spot checks to evaluate driving skills and adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Provide coaching on best practices for clear, accurate, and relevant audio note documentation.
- Document audit findings and deliver constructive feedback to personnel and leadership.
- Track training performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for curriculum improvement.
- Report daily to the AM Shift Lead for task management, scheduling, and operational alignment.
- Coordinate with training coordinators to ensure consistency, efficient scheduling, and alignment with overall training strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a training, coaching, or instructional role, ideally in a technical, logistics, or automotive/fleet environment
- Exceptional driving record and advanced driving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback
- Proficiency in developing and delivering engaging training content
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Data Collection (DC) and/or Autonomous Vehicle (AV) development environments
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training tracking software
- A background in quality assurance, auditing, or safety compliance
