HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Manufacturing Technician to join the team responsible for the assembly and testing of company vehicles.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the build and testing process by performing defined test plans, supporting subassemblies, and ensuring timely delivery of completed projects. Your hands-on work and feedback will help refine systems and accelerate the company’s path to mass production.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technician with a strong background in automotive technology and manufacturing. You are detail-oriented, skilled in troubleshooting, and thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments where quality, efficiency, and safety are top priorities.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll:
- Work closely with leads and other technicians on vehicle assembly line builds.
- Perform sub-assembly of smaller components to support the production line.
- Support bring-up activities, including running scripts and assisting with software testing.
- Conduct light diagnosis and troubleshooting of vehicle issues.
- Execute daily tasks to ensure timely project completion and delivery.
- Provide feedback to engineering and development teams to support product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments as needed.
- Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in quality, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements
- Associate degree or certificate in automotive technology; trade schooling or equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu
- 4+ years of experience as a technician or in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of basic electrical theory
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and harness drawings
- Knowledge of CAN/LIN network systems
