HireArt is helping our client find an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join its team focused on automating processes and improving efficiency.
In this role, you’ll provide architectural, engineering, and operational support for corporate IT systems, build automation to streamline endpoint operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT services.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. They bring strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly across teams.
As an IT Systems Engineer, you will:
In this role, you’ll provide architectural, engineering, and operational support for corporate IT systems, build automation to streamline endpoint operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT services.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will:
- Provide architectural, engineering, and operational support for corporate IT endpoints.
- Use MDM tools and APIs to build scripts, packages, and configuration profiles that automate endpoint operations.
- Partner with IT, security, and internal departments to automate repetitive tasks.
- Write detailed and concise documentation and runbooks.
- Collaborate with vendors to implement and improve IT services.
- Act as a mentor and resource for IT teammates.
- Manage and support other corporate IT systems (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace, Slack).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing client endpoints at scale
- Expertise with JAMF, NinjaOne, Workspace One, and Google Workspace
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or equivalent tools
- Comfortable consuming REST APIs
- Experience with Linux systems
- Skilled in writing and documenting detailed project proposals
- Experience collaborating with vendors on issue resolution, project roadmaps, and system improvements
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-moving environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A background in corporate tech environments is ideal, but experience in education with Jamf will also be considered
- Familiarity with AutoPkg and Chocolatey is highly preferred
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience building integrations across systems using APIs
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
