HireArt is helping an autonomous ride-hailing company hire an Engineering Technician, Hardware Manufacturing to support projects in the Engineering Lab.
In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic hardware, ensuring high-quality, timely results.
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated, able to take on challenges and work effectively with minimal supervision.

In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic hardware, ensuring high-quality, timely results.
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated, able to take on challenges and work effectively with minimal supervision.
As an Engineering Technician, you'll:
- Assist engineers in developing and refining manufacturing processes.
- Assemble and test electronic hardware from prototypes through short-run production.
- Support alternative assembly techniques and resolve technical issues.
- Perform quality inspections on lab work and final product testing.
- Maintain accurate, clear communication and documentation.
- Keep work areas organized, safe, and compliant.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 4-6 years experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- Technical training (e.g., soldering, trade school, OJT classes) preferred
- Ability to read technical documents and schematics
- Experience using a computer for data entry and internet-based tasks
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Proficiency with standard assembly tools (cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, torque tools, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with soldering, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators
- Experience in low-volume product development/manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD-001 standards
- Proficient verbal and written English language skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience supporting virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Familiarity with VMware-based VDI platforms and tools
