Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Fleet Support Specialist to support scheduling, metrics, documentation, and dashboard updates of its vehicle fleet.

In this role, you will assist tracking current/historical fleet health and keep constant situational awareness of the fleet status. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth handoff of hardware/software from development to operations.

We're looking for someone that has 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced service environment. Ideally you are familiar with automotive repair processes and fundamentals.

As a Fleet Support Specialist, you'll:
  • Work with scheduling team to book repairs on vehicles and monitor/update fleet health.
  • Perform quality inspection of repair orders by reviewing open vehicle issues and generating actions.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping and historical vehicle health/repair data.
  • Identify and support in the development of technical documentation.
  • Support the development of daily-weekly-monthly-quarterly reporting.
  • Close the loop on repair feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Provide assistance to the PMs with meeting high-level targets.
  • Assist with ordering parts ensuring their availability for repairs.
  • Work in the repair shop alongside the technicians, technician leads, engineers and other cross-functional team members.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a rapid-paced service environment
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes/fundamentals
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Team player

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Jira/Confluence
  • Familiar with MS Office/Google Suites
  • Automotive service environment exposure/experience helpful
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables
  • Rapid communication and response via multiple modes of communication
