HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire Field Support Specialists, Fleet Response.
In this role, you will always ensure safety, support vehicle recovery efforts in-field, communicate through radio and mobile applications, and represent the company brand as an ambassador to the riding public at high-traffic customer locations.
We're looking for tech-savvy, customer-centric team players who are detail-oriented, have great hand-eye coordination, are focused, and believe in doing whatever it takes to safely accomplish the mission.

As a Fleet Support Specialist, you'll:
In this role, you will always ensure safety, support vehicle recovery efforts in-field, communicate through radio and mobile applications, and represent the company brand as an ambassador to the riding public at high-traffic customer locations.

Shifts available Sunday - Tuesday, 3:30PM-2:00AM
As a Fleet Support Specialist, you'll:
- Work in-field within a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Drive auxiliary vehicles (non-autonomous) from base to the pick up/drop off (PUDO) sites.
- Use a hand-held input device to operate robots.
- Execute terminal commands to flash firmware on hardware components.
- Assist with testing and data collection to evolve processes and tools to support observed customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide live assistance to RiderOps and escalate issues to be further investigated.
- Become a knowledge expert on tools related to RiderOps and utilize these tools to resolve customer interactions.
- Uphold a safety-centric, inclusive, and open-communication culture.
Requirements
Experience in the following:
- Using computer terminal commands
- Using physical controls (i.e. hand-held input devices) to operate heavy equipment or robots remotely, with excellent hand/eye coordination
- Working in a cross-functional team
Candidates must also possess:
- Excellent computer skills and problem-solving ability
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely communicate in speech and writing, as well as listen to and interpret customer needs
- Proven ability to adapt and drive progress against goals in ambiguous, changing environments
- Willingness to work flexible shift hours and locations
- Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
- Safety boots (required) - specifications: slip resistant, safety toe, puncture resistant sole
- Positive attitude!
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting apps/tools
- Experience in high-stress situations, including knowledge of de-escalation techniques
Commitment: This is a part-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be available to candidates who are local to the Las Vegas, CA area.
