Job description
HireArt is helping a mobility technology company find a Data Annotation Specialist to join its Data Operations team who will be contributing to its annotation QA efforts.
We are looking for both mid-level and senior-level candidates. Pay will be based on experience.
In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the machine learning team and other stakeholders to create quality metrics, drive high-quality labeling work, and improve operational processes pertaining to labeling data.

In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the machine learning team and other stakeholders to create quality metrics, drive high-quality labeling work, and improve operational processes pertaining to labeling data.
As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will:
- Work closely with external vendors and machine learning engineers to curate, QA, and deliver high-quality labeled data.
- Use third-party and proprietary tools to QA annotated tasks.
- Support, develop, and improve data labeling workflows.
- Provide feedback on tool improvements for more efficient throughput.
- Support the data annotation Ops lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Comfortable using visual/spatial software in 2D and 3D on repetitive tasks (QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar)
- Experienced with data annotation and data analysis with regard to driving or other relevant experience
- Ability to learn quickly and implement new concepts
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. This position will be remote and available to U.S.-based candidates. Preference will be given to candidates local to the Bay Area, CA.
