Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Program Manager, Fleet Operations, to join its team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the fleet's reliable and efficient operation by delivering projects and managing processes that enable the seamless coordination of maintenance and repair programs.

As a Program Manager, Fleet Operations, you'll:
  • Create high-fidelity program plans for its fleet initiatives that meet milestones, roadmaps, and service checkpoints.
  • Create mitigation plans to burn down fleet-wide issues, including risk management assessment.
  • Oversee fleet management, which includes vehicle production planning, vehicle planning, and vehicle movements.
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders to understand program initiatives and drive actions.
  • Optimize the current and future work streams to reduce downtime in vehicle repairs to provide more uptime for mileage accumulation.
  • Work in the engineering domain on work instruction, demand planning, parts planning, and tools planning for the decommissioning of retired fleet vehicles.
  • Work with the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBoM) and Service Bill of Materials (SBoM) to enable accurate and efficient configuration management for service and research and development fleets.
  • Interpret and translate engineering requirements into executable rework tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project/program management experience
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Possesses analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols
  • Can remain calm and clear-headed in an emergency
  • Efficiently manages time, effectively multitasks, and pays close attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, MS Office, and Google Suite
  • 3+ years of automotive industry experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
