HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a CI Engineer to be responsible for monitoring and supporting the critical CI integration gates, ensuring the development lifecycle can proceed without interruptions.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing feedback to engineers, helping to restore and maintain the health of the codebase.
We're looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in an SRE or DevOps role. You have expertise in at least one major CI platform and are familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
As a CI Engineer, you'll:
In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing feedback to engineers, helping to restore and maintain the health of the codebase.
We're looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in an SRE or DevOps role. You have expertise in at least one major CI platform and are familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
As a CI Engineer, you'll:
- Administer and maintain the infrastructure (e.g., build agents, runners, CI images, and worker pools) that powers the CI system.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable CI pipelines for a diverse set of software use cases.
- Diagnose and resolve complex CI failures, dependency issues, and performance bottlenecks within the CI environment.
- Work alongside CI platform engineers to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the CI platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 2-4 years of experience in an SRE or DevOps role
- Expertise with at least one major CI platform (BuildKite, Jenkins, GHA, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including resource provisioning, autoscaling configuration, and block storage management
- Solid understanding of containerization and Docker
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for build automation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Buildkite
- Experience with modern build tools (e.g., Bazel, Gradle)
- Experience with source control systems, particularly Git
- Experience working in a monorepo environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment
