Job description
HireArt is helping ResMed hire a Forklift Driver to be responsible for transporting materials, tools, equipment, and products by operating motorized and non-motorized equipment.
As a Forklift Driver you'll:
As a Forklift Driver you'll:
- Compare identifying information and counts items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Operate equipment to place palletized materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Open boxes, creates, and other containers and prepares parcels for shipping.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ months experience with a Raymond 7500 stand-up reach forklift
- Comfortable being on feet for the majority on the scheduled work shift
- Steel-toe shoes are required starting on Day 1
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Possess a customer-centric commitment to build and maintain customer relationships
- Display energetic, self-motivated and quick thinking with positive attitude
- Flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed
- Ability to walk and occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 40lbs
