HireArt is helping May Mobility, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, hire a Tele-Assist Operator to support their remote vehicle operators and ensure all customers have a safe, clean, professional, and enjoyable experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and troubleshooting experience, ideally using Ubuntu/Linux within the autonomous vehicle industry. They will be a safe and experienced driver with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

As a Tele-assist Operator, you will:
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and troubleshooting experience, ideally using Ubuntu/Linux within the autonomous vehicle industry. They will be a safe and experienced driver with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

As a Tele-assist Operator, you will:
- Use Ubuntu to remotely run reports, document daily summaries, and launch software features/updates.
- interact with developers and vehicle operators to better understand business needs and autonomous technology.
- Think critically about how to improve vehicle operation and ease of use.
- Operate according to traffic safety procedures and safe driving practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years’ driving experience (personal or professional) with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Experience working with and troubleshooting complex technical systems
- Familiarity with or interest in autonomous vehicles
- Highly organized, methodical, and process-oriented
- Ability to regularly lift 20 lbs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Linux/Ubuntu desktop experience
- Previous experience testing autonomous vehicles
