Position Overview: We are seeking highly qualified and motivated part-time certified teachers to join our fully remote asynchronous high school. As a teacher in our innovative online learning environment, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to domestic and international students. The successful candidates will be subject matter experts, experienced in remote teaching, and passionate about utilizing cutting-edge technology and AI integration. This position offers flexible part-time hours, with a focus on designing courses based on project-based learning and utilizing the latest educational resources.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous online instruction to high school students within your subject area(s) of expertise.
• Deliver asynchronous lessons and assessments that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Provide timely feedback, guidance, and support to students to promote their academic growth and achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
• Attend monthly faculty meetings to collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement targeted interventions as needed.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administrators to address individual student needs and concerns.
• Stay up to date with the latest educational research, technology tools, and best practices in online teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with the instructional support team to address technical issues and ensure a smooth learning experience for students.
• Contribute to the overall improvement and growth of the school by providing input and feedback on instructional strategies and curriculum enhancements.
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and participate in professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an active teaching certificate in your state is mandatory.
• Proven experience and success in remote teaching, preferably in a high school setting.
• Subject matter expertise and the ability to teach one or more high school subjects effectively.
• Familiarity with project-based learning methodologies and a passion for designing innovative and engaging curriculum.
• Proficiency in utilizing new technology tools and integrating AI resources into the instructional process.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage online instruction and assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage and support students and effectively collaborate with colleagues and parents.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the academic success and well-being of students.
• Ability to attend monthly faculty meetings virtually and actively contribute to discussions and collaborative initiatives.
• Experience working with both domestic and international students is highly desirable.
• Availability and flexibility to work part-time hours, with consideration for students across different time zones.
