The AscentUP Recruitment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in screening and matching candidates for entry-level roles, ensuring successful alignment between candidates and employers. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in recruitment of early-career professionals. They will be responsible for evaluating candidates, conducting intake meetings, and working closely with the Employer Relationship Manager to match candidates with appropriate roles. The Recruitment Coordinator will also provide on-the-spot coaching to applicants needing to strengthen their professional skills. Qualities we’re looking for:

· Ability to creatively assess and match candidates to roles that align with their skills and employer needs.
· Recruitment often involves rapid changes and demands, so someone who can handle a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs would be valuable.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Screening and Matching:
· Conduct reviews of applications and resumes to assess fit and readiness for available projects.
· Collaborate with the Employer Relationship Manager to align candidates with employers based on staffing needs and project suitability.
· Manage the matching process to ensure monthly goals are met.
· Identify potential gaps in candidates’ skills and recommend specific interventions to prepare them for future roles.
· Provide real-time coaching to candidates to enhance their professional readiness as needed during the screening process.
· Explore and implement tools (including potential AI solutions) to streamline intern assessments and improve scalability.
Candidate Development:
· Conduct 1x1 intake meetings with candidates to assess their interests, skills, and project alignment.
· Provide professional skill-building feedback and resources to candidates during the intake process.
· Provide on-the-spot coaching to candidates, focusing on communication, professional presentation, and articulating their skills effectively, ensuring they are prepared to meet employer expectations.
· Prepare candidates for success by coordinating targeted interventions where necessary before project placement.
Reporting and Metrics:
· Track matching outcomes and report success metrics to leadership, including meeting targets and key performance indicators.
· Identify and implement improvements in reporting to streamline communication on matching progress.
